School

We have made a different choice for schooling this year. Instead of doing public school, we chose a Montessori-based Charter School. It is a fairly new school here, but we were looking for different options. 

So far - it is good. We chose it for a change, and because of the feeling inside the school. 

I have heard good and bad - just as all other schools. I need to be an attentive parent - just like public school. 

What do the kids think? Great lunches! T (4th Grade) gets an optional band class @ recess that she is EXCITED about! JR just got his trumpet today - (note to self - earplugs are a must with louder instruments :)  . L loves the school and made friends the first day as did M.  6th through 8th is taught together - so Mom LOVES that they have the same homework in some classes (spanish). 

Another plus - when the break they B-R-E-A-K a full week in October, November, December, February, and March.  Family VACAY's here we come. 

No bullying seen, and no meanness - the main reason for switching, a more loving environment. We hope this proves to be a positive, and growing experience for us all.
